Lots of things are going on right now in the sports world. In fact, too much is, in my opinion. According to local broadcaster Norm Hitzges, sunday was the first day since 2001 that all 4 major american sports (nfl, mlb, nba, nhl) played on the same day. Found that a little hard to believe, havent done too much research into it though, so i'll take his word for it. The WS seemed promising in game 1 with the phillies taking out the yanks in NY. But since that game, the yankees are gonna cast this series into their endless list of WS borefests that carve their franchise deeper into all-time greatest sports franchises. Heres hoping Cole hamels wont cry again after the phillies lose (or win?) game 6.
NHL I dont care.
The Mavericks pissed me off in their first game of the season, especially since it was a loss to the washington wizards, one of the worst teams in the league one year ago. But after kicking the crap out of the lakers, no amount of losses can make me feel like this season is unsuccessful anymore. But.........its still football season, which means bball will have to wait.
I'll make another post later, but since i missed yesterday, im kinda double-downing right now. Later.
Also, interesting turn in the american political landscape last night. Talk about that later as well.

ReplyDeletehahahaha. yeah, we all know THAT'S not true. the one thing i hate about this is that when you get done typing a blog, you think "man, that was A LOT!" until you go back and read it, and then you go "man, that was the shortest read i've had since elementary school."
